How to properly care for baby‘s skin on a daily basis? All you need is a few basic products

Baby skin is very delicate and sensitive, so the care for it should be as gentle as possible. Unlike adults, whose skin is more resistant to external influences, baby skin needs a special care and products.

Here at Beggs, we believe in ‘less is more’, as over use of beauty products can stress or irritate baby sensitive skin. When taking care of your baby‘s skin on a daily basis, you only need to use a few basic products, and we will now take a look at what they are.

Bathing and skin protection

The foundation of mindful care of baby skin is the cleaning. Baby shower gel for body and hair is gentle not only on your baby‘s sensitive skin, but also on their fine hair. It contains aloe vera juice that promotes skin hydration, nourishes and protects it. It also contains calendula flower extract, which has softening and emollient effects. The gel smells beautiful and is suitable even for the most sensitive skin of babies from birth.

For a bath can be used as well the Baby shower oil, which is hydrophilic and when it comes into contact with water, it turns into a pleasant creamy emulsion that perfectly washes your baby‘s skin. Thanks to the absence of essential oils and perfumes, it is also suitable for skin prone to eczema. It contains grape seed, hazelnut and sunflower seed oils that emollient and soften the skin and provide protection against drying.

After bathing, we recommend using Baby moisturizing face and body cream. It gently protects the skin all over the baby‘s body from birth. It contains shea butter rich in vitamin E, which has antioxidant properties. Together with sweet almond extract from Provence, it nourishes and softens the skin. The cream also contains aloe vera juice, which promotes skin hydration, nourishes and protects it.

Diaper Changing routine for normal and eczematous skin

When changing diapers, it is convenient to use Baby Micellar Water, which contains aloe vera juice and calendula flower extract. However, you don’t have to use it only when changing diapers. It is also suitable for cleansing the skin of the entire body and face at any time of the day.

The second option is the Baby Butt cleansing milk containing carnauba wax and sweet almond extract, which is suitable for very sensitive skin. Just like the Baby shower oil, the milk does not contain essential oils or perfumes and is therefore also suitable for skin prone to eczema.

Finally, for the care of the diaper area, the Baby Diaper Cream is essential, it helps to prevent chafing and soothes the skin in these sensitive areas. The natural zinc oxide-free formula contains aloe vera juice, which supports skin hydration, nourishes and protects it. It also contains calendula flower extract, which has softening and emollient effects.

Gentle care even on the go

When you’re out for a walk, on the go, or simply in a place where you don’t have the opportunity to wash your baby in the usual way, it’s great to have a suitable alternative at your hand. In this case, the Baby Micellar Water will serve you well, you can use it not only when changing diapers, but also to clean the baby’s entire body. Don’t forget to pack Flushable wet wipes with you, which are compostable and flushable, and thus perfect for traveling.

If you prefer milk-based cosmetics, a great travel solution is also the combination of Baby Butt cleansing milk for the bottom and again Flushable wet wipes. All these products are gentle on delicate baby skin and will serve you well in places where you don’t have access to water for cleaning.
