This food supplement contains a balanced combination of important vitamins (folic acid, vitamin D, zinc) and minerals (iodine, iron) for women in the period from planning a baby to the end of breastfeeding.
The daily dose (2 capsules) also contains 400 μg of an active form of folic acid (calcium L-methylfolate). Folic acid is a vitamin of the B group (vitamin B9), its increased intake is especially important before a planned pregnancy and in the first weeks of pregnancy. In the body, it turns into a biologically active substance – the so-called folate. 2Folates contribute to the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy and play a role in the process of cell division.

- Folic acid and its supplemental intake increases folate levels in pregnant women. Low folate levels in pregnant women are a risk factor for neural tube defects in the developing fetus3.
- Vitamin D contributes to the normal level of calcium in the blood and to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth.
- Vitamin C contributes to the reduction of fatigue and exhaustion and increases the absorption of iron.
- Iodine contributes to the normal production of thyroid hormones and to the normal functioning of the thyroid gland.
- Iron contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin.
3The target population are women of reproductive age, and a beneficial effect is achieved with a supplemental daily intake of 400 μg of folic acid from at least one month before conception and up to three months after conception.
